Ballyneale,or, in Irish Baile Uí Néill, is a home to a rich heritage with its historical figures and buildings.  It has a present population of about 400 people.  Ballyneale has bred many famous people, such as the O'Neill clan, Thomas F. Kiely and John O' Mahony.  Its most famous building is the age old home of the O' Neill clan.
